A card reader is required to copy constantly increasing quantities of data from the memory card to your PC or notebook quickly and easily. Multi-card readers have the advantage of compatibility with all standard types of memory cards. Card readers with a single/dual slot are particularly small, and are therefore perfect for use on-the-go.

Hot Swapping
This function makes it possible to transfer data directly between two storage media connected to the card reader. This is much faster than copying the files to your computer and then to the second card (not possible with the single slot card reader). |

SDXC-Ready
The card reader must be compatible with the specifications of the card. SDXC-compatible card readers are downward compatible so that they can read and write to all types of cards (including SD/SDHC, except for item no. 108039). |
